Our story
John Carnagio applied to own a McDonald's at 24 and was told no. He kept showing up, worked nights to get through training, and when they asked where he'd be willing to go, he said anywhere. Anywhere turned out to be a small restaurant in Channahon. John cooked, Joanne ran the counter and the drive-through, and they learned every job in the building.
Their son Joe grew up in those restaurants and trained the same way everyone does, one station at a time. Today the two of them run JJC together, and they still jump on drinks when it gets busy.
“Each store has a family behind it.”
Grow with us
Every role at JJC is a starting line, not a ceiling. Here's the path our people walk, from training to leadership and beyond.

In our communities
We live in the towns we serve. When a school, a team or a family needs a hand, we want to be the first call.

Teachers take over the counter for a night, families come out to cheer them on, and twenty percent of the proceeds go back to the school.
We've supported families staying close to their hospitalized kids for as long as we've been in business.
Team sponsorships, school supply drives and neighborhood celebrations across our towns.
